What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are the animal-based non-cross-linked solution of hyaluronic acid that helps support the correction of aging signs such as fine lines, wrinkles, marionette lines, and nasolabial folds. In addition, dermal fillers aids in the restoration of lost volume of cheeks and eye troughs. Hyaluronic acid provides moisture cushion to the skin cells and is present naturally in our bodies, especially the skin, eye fluids, and joints. Researches have proved that injecting a specific amount of hyaluronic acid helps hold water at the injection site. As a result, it minimizes the effects of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines, for more than a year. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers also help in providing temporary volume to the recessed areas of the skin. Dermal fillers have unfolded the Hollywood secret of facial beauty, and it is no more a Skelton in the cupboard. Dermal fillers are not only famous among celebrities, but it’s a treatment of choice for most women in their thirties and above.

Under eye treatment- Tear Trough rejuvenation

Teosyal Redensity II is the ONLY Aesthetic injectables product in Europe licensed for the treatment of tear troughs.
What are ‘tear troughs’? They are the dark ridges that develop below the eyes which are often worse in appearance when tired or dehydrated. These lines are notoriously difficult to treat and have been seen by many practitioners as a big challenge in non-surgical aesthetics.

Can other dermal fillers be used to treat them? Yes – but not as well, and not for as long. Other fillers are much more likely to migrate with time towards the inner part of the tear trough leading to the appearance of a lump. Teosyal Redensity II doesn’t form lumps.

What’s involved in treatment? The treatment involves 3 or 4 injections under each eye. Before this, the skin can be anaesthetised using anaesthetics cream so that the whole procedure is virtually pain free. It takes around 5 minutes to complete each treatment.
What’s the treatment protocol? 1 treatment, with results lasting 9-12 months.

How much will this treatment cost? The price charged is 350 euros for 1ml. Although 1ml is the recommended dose by the manufacturer, more is sometimes given during a second procedure, best carried out at least one week after the initial treatment. Around 25% of patients seem to choose to get a 2nd ml of this product. If this second treatment is given within 1 month of the 1st, a reduced price of 250 euros will be charged for the second syringe.
